Luxury Interior at KITA and Il Mercato Hendrik Ido Ambacht – The Netherlandst by Willaerts Group

Bjorn van Dijl of the Willaerts Group is the owner of the restaurants KITA and Il Mercato Ambacht in Hendrik Ido Ambacht – The Netherlands. Although the interiors of the two restaurants differ, they share a contemporary and innovative style. All restaurants of the Willaerts Group are known for their high-quality interiors with a modern aesthetic, and no compromises were made with these two restaurants either.

Restaurant KITA, designed by renowned interior architect Ferry Tabeling of the Heineken Design Bureau, has become a luxury interior paradise, featuring illuminated stone floors, distinctive ceilings, walls, seating areas, and partitions. It looks like an exclusive, internationally high-end restaurant and represents a new generation of restaurant design.

Restaurant Il Mercato was designed and styled by Vivian van Woodfever, who has many stunning projects to her name. The interior boasts a unique, modern Italian atmosphere. This restaurant is located directly next to KITA. It is a super stylish, unique gem of interior design, with cosy seating areas, unique hanging lamps, and it is fully styled down to the finest details. Both restaurants have remarkable interiors and are connected to one another.

For this project, daisy james  provided the wallcoverings for both restaurants, the public areas, and the restrooms. A custom design was created for Il Mercato, covering the walls, fabrics for the furniture, rugs, and uniforms, turning this restaurant into a total concept. The connection between the two restaurants is decorated with daisy james wallcovering The Gem, and the restrooms are adorned with daisy james  wallpaper The Net. A custom-made design was also installed in KITA. We are proud to have provided our daisy james collection of wallcoverings to the Willaerts Group for these outstanding projects.
